Dr. Jesse Wright, M.D., Ph.D. - Founder, Clinical Advisory Board Head
Dr. Wright is a pioneer in the development of digital behavioral health tools. He was the principal author of the first multimedia computer program for psychotherapy and guided the production and validation of Good Days Ahead, the scientifically tested program for depression and anxiety. His work has led to over seven million dollars in National Institute of Health grant support for studies of Good Days Ahead.
Dr. Wright is the Kolb Endowed Chair in Outpatient Psychiatry and Director of the Depression Center at the University of Louisville. As the principal author of award-winning and best-selling books and over 100 scientific articles and book chapters, he recognized throughout the world as a leading expert in cognitive-behavior therapy and computer-assisted treatment.
Dr. Wright was the Founding President of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and is a Fellow of the American College of Psychiatrists. Dr. Wright has received the Distinguished Educator of the Year Award from the University of Louisville and the Aaron T. Beck Institute Award among other honors.
Samuel L. Mayhugh, Ph.D. - CEO
Samuel L. Mayhugh, Ph.D. is a psychologist with 44 years of psychology practice and executive leadership of behavioral health companies. His career includes successful innovation in hospital and outpatient healthcare delivery and benefit management. He was the founder, and served as CEO and Chief Clinical Officer, for Integrated Behavioral Health, a company providing services for 38,000 client companies, 60.000 providers for seven million lives.
Dr. Mayhugh is a co-author of the early industry textbook, Managed Behavioral Health Care - an Industry Perspective, as well as co-author of The Changing Healthcare Roles of Behavioral Health Professionals and Benefits of Contemporary Education and Training. Dr. Mayhugh, with his son, Dr. Brian Mayhugh, authored Covid-19, Resources for Coping with the Pandemic and Beyond, with references for consumer mental telehealth services.
Dr. Mayhugh has designed and operated behavioral health programs based on clinical quality, positive outcomes, and cost efficiencies. Treatment services, employee assistance/wellness, coaching, digital programs, and Ai were elements of a full-service platform. Dr. Mayhugh brings his history of application of cognitive behavior therapy to the MindStreet team, and its platform development and operation.
Sumit Bando - Chief Technology Officer
Sumit wrote his first programs in Fortran in 1978, then dove into hardware and microcode, before resurfacing to the comfort of higher level languages . He has been on the Internet since 1981. Starting at AT&T Bell Labs in 1984 (the Mecca of Computer Science) after a Masters in Computer Science, Sumit has worked at four of the pioneering computer companies with Class A internet addresses. Sumit also founded and joined multiple startups, lead all aspects of technology and management, holds a number of patents and grew multiple companies through successful exits. LinkedIn
Cyndi Klement - Sales Director
Cyndi is a seasoned sales and business development professional with a strong background in healthcare systems sales to providers and payors for two decades. With a broad range of experience working with a variety of systems, she has developed a deep understanding of the unique and rapidly changing healthcare market and the special place held by behavioral health. Working with ACO’s, MBHO’s, EAP’s and Health Plans, Cyndi helps change the way individuals and clinicians engage with online services. She brings to MindStreet high energy and a strategy to bridge the gap between behavioral and medical health. She earned a B.S. degree in Finance, with minors in Economics and Computer Science from California State University, Chico.
